Common questions
Control is LLMSource’s governance layer. Earlier layers make your site readable and credible to AI. Control goes further: it tracks how AI describes your business, compares you to competitors, and gives you sign-off steps, audit records, and certification to back your claims. Its main output is the AI Representation Score, which shows whether AI mentions you when people ask about your category, how prominently, and how favorably.
AI now answers customer questions about your business, and it doesn’t always get it right. A wrong answer, stated with total confidence, can send customers to a competitor or misstate something your legal team cares about. AI brand governance tracks how you’re described over time and shows how you compare to rivals. It also gives you an audit record for a board or an auditor: an immutable log of every login, fix, approval, and certification event.
Control is for teams accountable for how AI describes their business: the ones who need to show a board, a client, or an auditor that the answers are accurate and someone is watching. It starts at Business and is complete at Enterprise. Business covers monitoring: tracking how AI describes you, benchmarking, and certification. Enterprise adds governance: sign-off on sensitive changes, audit records, and stricter data controls. Together, they make accuracy provable.
Yes. Control isn’t a starting point. Discover makes your site readable by AI. Trust checks how accurately AI answers real customer questions about you, measured against the facts you’ve verified. Control tracks whether AI engines surface you in your category, how prominently, and how favorably, then certifies what it finds. That’s Control closing the loop after Discover and Trust.
Control starts reading how AI describes you as soon as monitoring begins, but trends take a little longer to show. Since the AI Representation Score comes from live answers that shift between runs, it’s worth watching the direction over a few runs rather than judging one snapshot.
No, and we wouldn’t claim it does. No platform can force ChatGPT or Claude to say something specific. What Control does is track how you’re described, flag it when that changes, and give you the evidence and approvals to fix it. Real accuracy comes from clean data underneath, which Discover finds, Trust verifies, and Control keeps watch on.
No. Control monitors and governs. It doesn’t edit your site. On Enterprise, it adds guardrails: sensitive actions need a second approval, and policy rules can block a deployment that would drop your AI Quality Score below your threshold. Every approval is logged, so you stay in control of what ships.
Agencies don’t get Control by default. For $199/month, add the AI Representation Score to see how you and your clients show up in AI answers. Benchmarking and certification need Business or Enterprise. Governance, including second-approver sign-off on sensitive actions and policy rules that can block a deployment, is Enterprise only.
On Enterprise, you choose where your organization’s data is stored. Each organization’s data is encrypted with its own keys, and accounts are added or removed automatically through your identity provider. Business plans can add single sign-on and PII masking, which detects and masks sensitive personal information in schema and crawl outputs.
